Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford was born in the United States. Ashford is an actor as well as a singer and dancer. As a young actress, she appeared in Broadway role, she was the role of Essie Carmichael in Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. In You Can't Take It With You, she won the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in a Play. Annaleigh Ashley is a Tony Award winning actor and actress, has worked with directors, actors, and other performers in stage and on screen throughout her entire career. Ashford will next be seen starring opposite Kumail Nanjiani in the Hulu limited series Welcome to Chippendales from creator Robert Siegel premiering on November 22. Ashford is currently in production on Searchlight Pictures' horror thriller Dust starring opposite Sarah Paulson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The film is scheduled to air on Disney DTC in the form of it becomes a Hulu Original. Ashford is scheduled to return to Broadway in the month of March 2023 in which he'll be starring alongside Josh Groban opposite Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The production is located at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Thomas Kail as director and Jeffrey Seller as producer will serve as the creators of the show. Ashford was Paula Jones, the main character in Ryan Murphy's new FX series American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon the impeachment crisis that swept Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp and other principal characters into the first ever impeachment proceedings in America for more than 100 years. Two seasons ago, Ashford was a star of the hit show on CBS called B Positive. It was developed by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. The show also included Ben Vereen as well as Hector Elizondo. Sunday in the Park with George Wicked legally blonde and the original role of Lauren of Kinky Boots were among her other Broadway roles. Ashford is an Denver resident who splits his time between Los Angeles.
